Kentucky Vintage

Nose: A little alcohol, some corn, a little sweet. Pretty tame and nothing that really stands out. Palate: Some light spices, a little pepper and a little fruity. But not too sweet “fruity”, more of a robust fruity, with maybe a little raisin. It has a nice mouthfeel and has that chewy quality. It is woody (oak?). The finish is pretty short and doesn’t have much heat. It is slightly warming and the predominant flavor is woodiness. and some sweetness. Comments: This is a Willett product that clocks in at 90 proof. You should be able to get it at most places in MD in the middle $30’s. There’s nothing bad about this, but nothing really stands out as being all that complex or unique.
